Hello! I'm Betsy, a native Washingtonian who moved back to DC in 2012 after four years in New York City, eight months in Paris, and four years in London. My British husband Jon and I welcomed our son Robbie in December 2017 and our daughter Claire in 2021. We four - well, five, if you include Charlie, our black Lab - love exploring our ever-changing city and finding new day/weekend trip destinations in the area. We don't get back to England as much as we did pre-kids, unfortunately, when we were able to fly over annually, but travel is still a priority for us!I work in arts fundraising; enjoy cooking, entertaining, and homemaking; am obsessively interested in Jewish and Christian theology especially as they impact public life and the social contract in a country where we're not supposed to have any state-endorsed religion; and, since the 2016 election, have become passionately invested in politics to advance progressive causes.
